Play in the Next Free Advanced Poker Training Tournament

Poker players around the world love Advanced Poker Training for its many features.  If you don't already know, the site pits you against advanced, lifelike artificial intelligence opponents.
 
One cool feature about the poker training site that you may not know about is that you can see how you perform against other members in play money tournaments scheduled all week long.
 
If you are a member, you can join any of the tournaments, which are about pride as much as they are about testing the things you learned while training without needing to risk real money.  Just head to the "Live Tournaments Page" and then click on the red "View Lobby" button.
 
From there, the tournament lobby will quickly open and you can click on the "Tournaments" tab to see what games are coming up next.  From there, you can easily register for the tournaments of your choosing by clicking on the "Register" button or, if a tournament has already started, the "Register Late" button.  You can also click on the "Tournament Info" button to learn more about the tournament or hover over a table if the tournament has started and click "Observe Table" to watch the action instead of play.
 
Once the tournament has begun, you will automatically be brought to the table and you must click on the "Ready" button to get in on the action.
 
Besides seeing how well you perform by winning virtual chips, you can also track your performance over time by clicking on the "My Trophies" button, which appears on the same page as the "View Lobby" button before registering for a tournament.
 
This page tracks the number of times you won a tournament, your second place or better finishes, third place or better finishes, your in the money finishes, your final table finishes, and your total profit.  Interestingly enough, there is a similar page for when you choose to play tournaments against non-human opponents in the training module.
 
Besides being able to see for yourself how well you are doing, you can also show some pride to the Advanced Poker Training community on the "Tournaments Champion" page.
 
The next tournament begins on June 30 at 8pm ET.  If you miss that one, there are plenty more to choose from, including one on July 1 and two on July 2.
